The purpose of this Master is to provide advanced training in neuropsychology and achieve professional specialization in neuropsychological diagnostics and rehabilitation.

The current European and international health environments increasingly demand more neuropsychology specialists with graduate training, qualified for survey and diagnostics, as well as rehabilitation of brain damage disorders, regardless of their causes (congenital, acquired, degenerative).

This need for trained professional neuropsychologists will increase in the next few years, which means that master's degrees in Neuropsychology are now offered by most European and Anglo-Saxon universities.

For this reason, our objective is not only to train healthcare professionals who are interested in neuropsychological clinical practice but also to promote their mobility within Europe and further afield.

It should also be noted that the current law on disabilities (Llei de Dependència) creates a need for trained neuropsychologists who, together with other experts, can carry out accurate assessments.

The master's degree is a two-year programme combining theory and practice in external practices and admission rooms for neuropsychological patiients. During the first year, the course contents focus on neuropsychological exploration and diagnosis. During the second year, the focus is on neuropsychological treatment and rehabilitation for brain damage.

At the same time, during the first two courses, we aim to reinforce students' knowledge of neuroscience and clinical practice in neurology, neurosurgery and psychiatry so as to improve their understanding of clinical practice in neuropsychology.

Even the theory component of this master's degree is geared towards practice, with contents that support and complement the practical training.
